PLEASE SUPPORT UPCOMING ANNA-DAAN KITCHEN
(FOOD FOR LIFE)
HELP US TO SERVE FOOD TO THE NEEDY
Annadaan or the free prasadam distribution program is one of the most important aspects of ISKCON Bhiwandi.
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, ISKCON's Founder-Acharya instructed that no one within a ten-mile radius of the temple should go hungry. Following this instruction, during the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, ISKCON Bhiwandi distributed between 500-800 food packets daily to the needy.
With this in mind, we plan to purchase the plot opposite to the current temple and convert that into a mass Anna Daan kitchen complex. By this, we will be in position to cook for 3000 -5000 people on a daily basis with the help of donations from pious patrons.

ISKCON is doing a great job of feeding food to millions of poor people whose source of income have almost stopped due to Coronavirus pandemic. The food is in form of Krishna prasad which not only meets their basic necessity of stomach but also helps in purifying their consciousness.

In this highly challenging and uncertain times, lots of people especially some daily wage earners, migrant workers and poor people are having tough times to have even day's meals; so nice and heartwarming to hear that Iskcon has stepped in and been making all possible efforts and finding different ways to feed spiritualized food to more and more people everyday for not only their physical well being and sustenance but also their spiritual elevation. The credible source suggest that efforts are also being made, in some places, to feed animals.

ISKCON's Food for life is helping those who cannot afford simple meal. Food served is prepared by staff who's intention is to make food for God thus ensuring highest standard of hygiene, nutrition, quality and purity is maintained. I want to urge everyone who can to make a contribution according to their capacity to this cause so that the outreach can be expanded and more and more people can be served. Let's care for all living being as we care for our kin since we are all children of God.

ISKCON Food for Life Programme has been instrumental to dampen the scare of hunger in this pain striking COVID-19 pandemic. The service attitude of their volunteers to serve humanity is commendable.
