Gift Of Gita

Sponsor Copies For Free distribution

The Bhagavad Gita is Krishna's own words spoken on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, and preserved for every soul seeking to understand the purpose of life. ISKCON Bhiwandi believes that placing this timeless knowledge into someone's hands is one of the most valuable gifts a devotee can give. Gift of Gita is Vidyadaan - the donation of knowledge. Srila Prabhupada often said that distributing the Bhagavad Gita As It Is was more important than building temples, because a single copy placed in the right hands can transform a life forever, sometimes generations later. In the Bhagavad Gita itself, Krishna tells Arjuna, "One who explains this supreme secret to the devotees is guaranteed pure devotional service, and at the end he will come back to Me." (Bhagavad Gita 18.68–69) There is no service more pleasing to Krishna than helping others come to know Him through His own words. The Bhagavad Gita has helped countless people learn about Krishna and understand the path of devotional life. Through Gift of Gita at ISKCON Bhiwandi, you can help make this knowledge available to others. Sponsor a copy and take part in the service of sharing Krishna's teachings.
